What is the nature of touch and how does it speak the volumes we intend it too. How does the history of our cultural influences shape our sensibilities of touch, dance and human interaction. For this dance, we explored the concept of when touch is appropriate and when it isn't? Is there a difference when the same gesture is used in different contexts? With different power differential? Now how does this act of touch is contextualize within Polka Dance, within Contact Improvisation and within the context of a modern dance piece?
